First disappointment after opening the book and looking to the figures, which are other but modern: Diffractograms are still plotted in old-style against scattering angle, which is a curved space, energy units, or even in reciprocal units of reciprocal space, called lattice spacing. Diffraction, however, is a mapping of reciprocal space, which is evident for working with single crystals, under X-ray, neutron electron diffraction.
